Snapdragon's new Beast
Leading company in mobile processors Qualcomm is out with
its line-up of chip-set.
Qualcomm name there new and upcoming chip-set as snapdragon
850 which is promising in efficiency and performance (an improvised version of snapdragon
845) in Laptops/tablets.
Qualcomm also announced that there chip-set will be used in
both Laptops and mobile devices, but there main target is to tackle with the
laptops by providing +30 % more efficiency in terms of Performance, +20 % more
efficiency in terms of battery life, +20 % connectivity in terms of Network and
also +30% increase of Graphics efficiency (also support HDR) as compared to
835 devices.
As Qualcomm processor will be comparable as Processors made
by Intel, AMD and other leading Companies but it will be great in the
laptops/tablets used for basic work and day to day uses.
Key highlights of this processor will be:-
- · 1st processor by Qualcomm Compatible with Laptop (also works with mobile devices).
- · Compatibility with windows 10.
- · Long Lasting Battery life. (22-25 hrs. approx.)
- · 2.95 GHz Processor (overclocked version of snapdragon 845 which works on 2.8 GHz).
- · 10 nanometres technology for better optimization and overall performance.
- · LTE modem (snapdragon x20 LTE modem) which gives up to 1.2 Gbps download speeds.
- · Quick Charge 4 technology support.
- · Support 5G (in future).
- · AI support Engine.
